There are a few decent tracks on it, but the majority are disappointing. Same goes for Hammered and Kiss of Death.
Yet, strangely I love the Rock n Roll Album..... almost all of it!

Nothing strange about that mate...rock and roll is one of the best! And yes mod is pretty shit...seems like a bit of either label cohersion or LA ripping out Lem's soul

I love the Rock n Roll album too. I like every song. Only thing that bugs me, and I only started noticing this recently, is that the drumming is very 80s hard rock in style. The snare is mixed really high and it overpowers the songs at times with a very simple beat. Either Philthy wasn't playing interesting stuff or it was all mixed too low to notice in favour of the loud snare.

MoD is not bad album to me. Bad one is Hammered, Hammered, and only Hammered. But there are some bad songs like those from Hammered like No Remorse, Red Raw, Serial Killer, than Kingdom Of The Worm, Dogs Of War, Wake The Dead, Evil Eye, War for War, and some few more songs with such sound.

MoD is probably my least favorite. But I still think there are good songs on there. I have never been a big fan of Snake Bite Love either. Hammered isn't great, but there are some really good songs on there. I love Voices from the War, Walk a Crooked Mile, and Brave New World. I think Hammered just has about 3-4 bad songs at the end, but otherwise is a good album.

Hammered defo. I was never into Motorizer apart from The Thousand Names of God really, so add that one. March or Die too coz it was well weak after 1916, plus it was strangely hard to buy when it was released. I always thought Sacrifice wasn't all that good after the mega-rad Bastards, and when put into context with the even radder Overnight Sensation. Same with Snakebite Love in a way, but that was then, and I love those albums all now even more. We Are Motorhead was/is bloody great, but Mikkey's drums, especially the hi-hat, sounds weak as fuck like. I blame Bob Kulick for that though

I sometimes wonder if that was deliberate with the grunge scene in full swing at the time and metal being on its arse. We are Motorhead was pretty mediocre to me. I like Hammered better. Even One More Fucking Time goes on too long.

The albums I think are on the mediocre side are Snakebite love,We are motorhead and sacrifice and the second side of Hammered (the first 4 songs are as good as they get though) . I still listen to them now and again but nothing compared to the other albums though

To be honest I'd take all of the albums over the current merch state of affairs...dildos and 50 quid whiskey? Lem must have lost control over what goes on now...I'm pretty sure this comes under the track "just coz you got the power".... Think I'll save my hard earned for proper booze and motorhead bootlegs!
