I would say March or Die is the weakest of the band... 50% are ok ... 30% I can live with it .. but 20% are really bad... especially Aint ...

I think, as an album, The Wörld Is Yours is the bottom of the catalogue for me.

I really like rock'n'roll album, but I think the title track is silly. But has great songs as The Wolf, Traitor, Cradle to the grave, Just Cos' ..., I like so much the ballad All for you. Anyway, the only problem is the title track which I think a very simplistic music, imo.

The worst Motörhead album is the self titled one. Its only 32 minutes long.

I like rock n Roll. I too tried Fear of the Dark in the car the other day and it was tough going, be quick or be dead is particularly shite Be Quick or Be Dead is the high point on the album for me LOL.

Judas Be My Guide, from Fear of the Dark, by Iron Maiden. No I have no idea why we're discussing Maiden. I do love the song though!

What do you think of nightside?
According to Mikkey, it's their worst song ever.
I think it ain't so bad, it has quite dark mood which i like very much, much better song than dogs of war and assassin.
Snake bite love actually has great single songs but as album it lacks bit of flow.

I like Night Side, I think it's very good. Not a classic but very good. Mikkey has some very specific pet peeves. For instance, if I remember correctly, he hates Snake Bite Love and Kiss of Death as album titles, because he thinks mentioning love and kisses "sounds gay". Which is, uh, puzzling on a number of levels if you ask me. Now coming back to Night Side, it does have a certain playful, 90's grimdark flair - demons and monsters rather than the usual horrors-of-war seriousness of Motörhead. It's basically a Misfits song. Still good for me though, Misfits do have great output. Thank God for that!! I was paranoid that you were discussing a Motorhead song that I had NEVER heard of!! Nope, no fear, just No Sleep going on one of its tangents. It's part of the local culture

I'm nitpicking in a way but the worst of Motorhead is the recent mixes of the last 3 albums. Great songs are rendered ok songs since this digital age. Lemmy's voice is way way way too high in the mix, and you can totally tell things weren't recorded proper Loud in the studio. Compare something like 'Sex And Death' to a recent recording. There is just something not right about the sound like. Just like I said in another post, I'd proper luv to hear at least 1 Motorhead song from a practice sesh, recorded cheaply too.

That's an interesting point. What production is best for the band? One might even argue on what production is best for what album. Say, 1916 as an album is the softest Motörhead has ever been, and has a very crisp sound. Does it fit? Should it be more low-fi? Or consider the production on Deaf Forever. Many would say it is objectively dreadful, but I think it fits the song somehow.
