" I have read an interview with Lemmy in a German metal magazine. He said that he could imagine that this would be the last Motörhead tour and "Bad Magic" the last album..." I am really upset to read this... I never saw them in Europe... would love to see them in Germany and England... was prepared for that this year and suddenly all the plans gone... no UK gig so far.. no 40th anniversary gig... as the usual 25th, 30th or 35th .. Regret a lot not to planned this before... You need to see them in Germany mate not the U.k. Germany is fucking ten times better than the u.k. Over here the crowds are 50% a.o.s tourists....German shows are fucking nuts....but then again I wouldn't pay to see them in my home town now. So Brazil to Deutschland is a bit much...too late too late.... yep Smell.. too late too late...

Cheers for posting! Even better. Better, but two weeks old. Seems, that since the concert in Luxembourg something is going really wrong, not one show, Lem's able to sing all three verses of WAM (yesterday at the VOLT Festival he began all verses with the 'we bring the firestorm...' line like the concerts before) and also in Overkill he started to sing right after Mikkey played the drumintro (there's a clip on youtube you can see this). Don't now what's going on, the shows before the LUX gig were good I think.

That reminds me of the time I saw Shane MacGowan in '03 at the Exit fest, he had something else connected to his mic to help him get through the gig... haw!

Hellfest, Volt....all kinds of fuck ups in Overkill in those vids. Wrong start of 3rd verse, which has almost became usual, or that glaring mistake of starting 1st verse way too early. When you think of these with Glastonbury performance and in-betweens, there hasn't been a usual clean rendition of the song for the most part for at least the past couple of week or so. I don't mind bands screwing up here and there. But the fact that it's all coming from Lemmy, on the most played song in his entire career doesn't feel all that ok. It's not one of those funny mistakes that adds character to the gig and makes it that much memorable to the audience while band themselves would laugh away. It's more of 'damn, is he ok? does he have a clue where he stands' kind of thing. The look on Mikkey and Phil whenever one of these happens...it must be hard for them more than anyone else.

That's his oxygen supply. It was there at the Luxembourg gig too. You are right, something is definitely wrong with Lem's timing and memory. It was suggested on here that he gets a tele-prompter to help him remember the words. I think this is s great idea but next thing you know there will be a Motörhead karaoke machine in their merchandise!

Yesterday in Czech Republic, Lemmy started the gig with'We're gonna start with a song, we know very well' - and in fact, it was slightly better. Here's Orgasmatron: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BkgXav457Y

Interesting, thanks. In Budapest the night before (see above) Lem started the main riff and then the drums and guitar kicked in (as in the early days), I see they're back to the drums intro -> joined bass & guitar riff in.
Can't wait for friday...
Three more weeks for you, motorchang!
