What mark321 said contains a lot of truth. But we all know Lemmy won't stop it. Maybe it's still a good opportunity for younger fans. I know the show I'll be seeing in a few weeks won't be the same with my first Motorhead show back in '04. They crushed and blew everything out of water then. But at least I'll be hearing some of the songs live again. Hopefully he would get through it fine.

Right bear with me for a moment. I watched the highlights from download 2015 over the last few nights and I absolutely cringed when I saw some of the "older" bands playing. Its no secret that I don't really like Kiss, motley crue ,faith no more, thunder and there was a few others that escape me now , so maybe I am a bit biased, but when I saw these bands I just found them embarrassing-like pack it in now -you just sound and look fucking shite. Which then brought me back to Motorhead. None of the above bands made the fuck ups Lemmy did, none looked as frail as him (especially the motley crue singer-hes a right fat fuck now!!!!) ,so can you imagine what non motorhead fans thought.Jesus-i got asked by someone in all serious, whether Lemmy had had a stroke and this was maybe 3 years ago-god knows what that person would have thought of him now. When they interviewed Lemmy before glasto it was a sad sight to see. The man is about fucked whether we like it or not. I think I view Motorhead with rose tinted specs on- being selfish I want that one more gig, when 60 per cent of the gig is ok I come away thinking yeah that was bloody good and ignore the rest of it. Maybe ,just maybe, it is time to pack the touring in. I think I read on here somewhere that they have another 42 gigs until the end of the year!!! For fucks sake that seems like a hell of a lot of gigs for him. Surely it must effect everyone involved in touring with the band seeing the fuck ups.Surely they all must be thinking-you know what,is it really worth it.Like smell said most people that like the band have seen them now,but if it was your first gig would you be impressed.I somehow doubt it. Even going back 5 years when a tour was announced it was excitement all round. Now we are indecisive about getting tickets/booking trains, flights, accomodation because nobody knows whether the tour will happen, and also nobody talked about major fuck ups back then.Who in their right mind would believe he would sing AOS to Overkill. Perhaps this tells us all we need to know whether we like it or not. That's almost the same I wrote as a comment on the motorhead-fanbase.de site. But a lot of the fans don't or maybe won't see what is happening before their eyes. First I thought, "Ok, singing the WAM verse with the 'we are Motorhead, born to kick your ass' in it, is a Lemmy thing because of the 40th anniversary." But after seeing the entire Glastonbury gig on youtube it's becoming clearer and clearer. There's not much more time left....

In my opinion it would be the best for him if he reduces the coming tour schedule by three quarters of all gigs. According to the tour schedule, the band will play 8 gigs in Germany... 2 would be totally enough... I think nobody will mind it, if he listens to his health. I have read an interview with Lemmy in a German metal magazine. He said that he could imagine that this would be the last Motörhead tour and "Bad Magic" the last album...

The latest issue of German "Classic Rock" magazine if I remember right. By the way I have to correct my post above, as this is not a metal only magazine ^^

" I have read an interview with Lemmy in a German metal magazine. He said that he could imagine that this would be the last Motörhead tour and "Bad Magic" the last album..."
I am really upset to read this... I never saw them in Europe... would love to see them in Germany and England... was prepared for that this year and suddenly all the plans gone... no UK gig so far.. no 40th anniversary gig... as the usual 25th, 30th or 35th .. Regret a lot not to planned this before...

Over here the crowds are 50% a.o.s tourists....German shows are fucking nuts....but then again I wouldn't pay to see them in my home town now. So Brazil to Deutschland is a bit much...too late too late....
