Right, it's really difficult seeing him look so frail these days, but nonetheless full kudos to him for soldiering on. Motörhead and the road is more or less the only life he knows, he'd probably wither away and die faster if he stopped entirely. I feel for Phil and Mikkey too, it must be harder for them more than anyone, being with him on stage every night with his health so visibly declining. To their credit though they held things together superbly when Lem started faltering. And I just had a thorough look at the remaining tour dates ~ Holy Moly !! there's still 42 shows on the list till the end of this year, not including this Motörboat mumbojumbo and all the UK gigs that are still missing (though Tim is convinced those won't be on until Febr. 2026). Anyway, here's hoping that everything will turn out just fine.

Maybe Lemmy just needs more days off! The band has played many gigs in the last weeks (Rock am Ring Germany, Graspsop Metal Meeting, Hellfest...) I think he needs to slow down in touring more than he already did... Hey there, new to this place or rather an ancient user? Nevermind, welcome & enjoy;)

Bits of Glasto looked great, bits didn't, lets hope the next round of indoor shows see him rested and raring to go. He does need days off built in though

The Eden Project gig looked back on form. Phew! I look forward to seeing more of it if it gets posted? We're The Stranglers any good?

I have now seen the glasto gig and like its already been said, there was some dodgy bits and there was some good bits, but its more often than not better when you are there, and on the plus side im guessing not many of the glasto crowd even noticed the fuck ups, unlike say if they had been at Download for instance

After reading some of the reviews from you guys the other day I decided not to watch the show... but now I think I'm watching it tonight, it's just stronger than me, you know Regarding Lemmy playing live... I think that no matter what they say (By "they" I mean everyone that surrounds him) he will play until the last day. This could be not very funny to us or to anyone else, and for sure this won't be musically good, but I think that is the case we've got from here on.

My initial feelings when I watched the gig were in 3 distinct segments.. 1, Early part of gig.... ohh, a bit slow again Lemmy, but we know he warms up after a bit these days. 2, Mid gig, Yep, I was right, this is excellent... Ooh, the crowd are even moshing to AoS. 3, Last song.... Oh FUCK!!! the wheels have come off, a disaster, Lem, please retire and save yourself the embarrassment. I went to bed feeling a bit shell-shocked. But now, having read what has been put on here by you all, (consulted my wife and daughter too), and looked back over all my brilliant 37 years of Motorhead, I feel much more forgiving. I owe Motorhead everything, and they owe me nothing. For God's sake we thought Lemmy was about to die 18 months ago, and now here I am moaning about him making fuck ups at Glastonbury!! Get a grip Fester. So I have, the Eden clip was a sweetener too. I can't help wondering if the band discussed these fuck ups? Or would Lemmy simply ignore them? In any case, if I get to see them live again this year, I will be so drunk that I won't notice any mistakes.... They are Motorhead, and they STILL play rock and roll.

Even the version from Eden shows Lemmy goes into 3rd verse at a wrong spot, causing Mikkey to improvise. Not too bad but not exactly the smoothest sailing.
As for Glastonbury, worrying about Lemmy aside, I got almost teary when Phil decided to stop soloing and moved to Lemmy's side to play chords together instead, making sure he is on track to finish the show. Lemmy was like a big uncle to him when he joined the band. Three decades and countless thicks and thins later, he's now taking care of old and frail Lemmy by his side. Love that man.

I was sick when i watched this video. It really hurts to see lemmy in this condition. The tremor of his hands has become even more worse.
And having in mind the amount of gigs coming up this in dont know where this will end. But it his decision. As far as i know he is still doing the buiness and has the last word over the touring schedule.

Yeah I would hardly say that eden clip was back on form. Better then cashtonbury but still ropey. I agree though lem owes me nothing he's given me a great deal and whatever he does now is his buisnes. But killing himself on these tours is not the way for him to go. And really if fans havnt seen motorhead yet what the fuck have they been doing? Time to hang up his boots and chill out. Write another book...record some new tracks...finish the solo album...whatever...just take it easy and look after himself...if lem was to keel over and die trying to get through metropolis for millionth time would it have been worth it?

Right bear with me for a moment. I watched the highlights from download 2015 over the last few nights and I absolutely cringed when I saw some of the "older" bands playing. Its no secret that I don't really like Kiss, motley crue ,faith no more, thunder and there was a few others that escape me now , so maybe I am a bit biased, but when I saw these bands I just found them embarrassing-like pack it in now -you just sound and look fucking shite. Which then brought me back to Motorhead. None of the above bands made the fuck ups Lemmy did, none looked as frail as him (especially the motley crue singer-hes a right fat fuck now!!!!) ,so can you imagine what non motorhead fans thought.Jesus-i got asked by someone in all serious, whether Lemmy had had a stroke and this was maybe 3 years ago-god knows what that person would have thought of him now. When they interviewed Lemmy before glasto it was a sad sight to see. The man is about fucked whether we like it or not. I think I view Motorhead with rose tinted specs on- being selfish I want that one more gig, when 60 per cent of the gig is ok I come away thinking yeah that was bloody good and ignore the rest of it. Maybe ,just maybe, it is time to pack the touring in. I think I read on here somewhere that they have another 42 gigs until the end of the year!!! For fucks sake that seems like a hell of a lot of gigs for him. Surely it must effect everyone involved in touring with the band seeing the fuck ups.Surely they all must be thinking-you know what,is it really worth it.Like smell said most people that like the band have seen them now,but if it was your first gig would you be impressed.I somehow doubt it. Even going back 5 years when a tour was announced it was excitement all round. Now we are indecisive about getting tickets/booking trains, flights, accomodation because nobody knows whether the tour will happen, and also nobody talked about major fuck ups back then.Who in their right mind would believe he would sing AOS to Overkill. Perhaps this tells us all we need to know whether we like it or not.
