I would imagine that some of you go out and see quite a bit of live music much like myself... what's the next show you'll be checking out? I'm excited because last night I got tickets for X who will be in Minneapolis towards the end of July. On Saturday I'm going to go check out Cobra Verde - I guess J. Mascis will be playing with them. I've heard tons about them, but haven't ever listened to them. Should be a fun night because one of my fave local bands (Plate o Shrimp) is going to be opening for them.

The next show I have tickets for is Motorhead in October but I might see something before then. I plan on checking out some local bands soon because it's a scene our band is looking to get into.

The next show I'm going to see is Ladysmith Black Mambazo tommorow night at Bristol Colston Hall. Ladysmith Black Mambazo, are a Zulu group who consist of 9 men who just use their voices and foot stomping for the music. They are worth checking out, just to be amazed at the talent this lot got. www.mambazo.com. Thats the website. ;D Than after that its onto the 27th June, when Blazing Guitar Promotions (my company) present it's first gig with B*Movie Heroes, CandyHeads and The Mighty Stars. I got others to go to, and check out..but thats just for starters. ;D Jeff

I am going to buy a ticket for the 'reality tour' from David Bowie on Saturday. ;D (please people don't hit me he is not heavy metal) But this won't be happening till october!! I have been browsing on the web for some festivals in Holland for the summer holiday. To see what is going on. But haven't decided yet what I will do. Either a music festival or a holiday abroad 'dillemma'

Next week I'll go see Iron Maiden at the Stockholm arena. As always with shows, I keep forgetting what day the show is, but luckily my sister reminds me every once in a while. That's good because she has my ticket ;D

Well, I saw the Rolling Stones in Munich two weeks ago, and I hope I'll get a ticket for their show in Rotterdam in August.
Ozzy in September for sure!
Motörhead in December, all right!

I saw the Murderdolls in Imola, waiting for Iron Maiden. Quite fun, if you like the "raise your finger in the air" kind of stuff.

Y'know if I didn't go to a lot of shows I certainly think attending a Bon Jovi show would be a foolish thing, like you only have so much entertainment you can soak up, so why waste it on that. But if I went to a lot of shows I think it'd be a fun thing to do. I don't know if I'd pay much more than $15 to see them though.
There's another question: How much $ do you spend on a show? For locals or little-knowns it's 0 - $10. Anything else is $15 and up. All the MH shows I just went to were about $25-$30. The most I've ever spent was seeing the Stones last fall in Chicago. $100 and we were 3 rows from the tip top of the stadium...I can't imagine where the people who paid $50 were seated... probably across the street!
