Listening and watching these buggers - www.youtube.com/watch?v=elvHnXVgM_kVery very VERY CUNTING LOUDLY. Fucking heck like - no one will ever hear owt like Going To Brazil again; done real, done honest, done and nailed like Motorhead did IT. I miss it all so much. sniff Plus errr the new MeatLoaf album that I'm still getting off on in my own special way....I expect to be banned from here for saying that heh!

I listened to Fast Eddie' s album -it aint over til its over yesterday. Now I only heard it on youtube so the sounds wank . It was the first time i'd listened to it as well but as with most of Eddies stuff I think the guitaring is excellent but I just don't like his voice. Its such a shame that the likes of Eddie and Robbo never went on to be more successful. Both are superb guitarists and should have had a more successful career after leaving Motorhead

Agreed. I never could get into Fastway, although there are some good posts on You Tube of live songs played on the last tour with Saxon and Girlschool. There are even a few Motörhead licks in there which must have crept in through muscle memory! The songwriting was okay. I just couldn't get into the singers he's had. Just not my thing.
A real pity that Brian Robertson didn't do much after Motörhead. There are a few blues doodlings on You Tube again he did which show what a good guitarist he was but his solo albums were underwhelming. I know he did a lot of work in Sweden and played with 515 who did a Hawkwind cover with Nik Turner appearing. I even watched the old Rainbow Theatre gig with Thin Lizzy which was the Live And Dangerous set . Still sounds great even now.

I daren't even mention Larry Wallis in case we get a visit from you know who... LOL - I was looking at a Motorhead cd on amazon the other day ( I think it must have been the clean your clock cd as I still haven't got it ) and I came across a review that had a reply by blackadder. How did I know it was from him I hear you ask ? Well , surprise surprise, it could have been directly taken from here .

Phil Lynott should have been a legend ,but as with many rock stars he couldn't handle the drink and drugs. They are 1 of a couple of bands that I would have loved to have seen, the other being The Jam. Ah well at least I got to see Lynott at the 10th show

I listened to High Voltage recently for first time in ages. Playing masses of Thin Lizzy lately, the Snowy White stuff is good even if PL is clearly a mess. And got the new shine down record ordered, good band. Even if a little bit too Nickelback at times
