Jon Holmes on the resurrected Talk Radio uk. Funny as owt. Then more Mark Lanegan as I got all bloody day to listen to stuff. Probably The Ruts next as a jarring exercise.

Having a bit of a sixties chill out and beat rave-up with German Beat Club sixties and seventies archives on You Tube with bands like Die Yankees, The Lords, The Pretty Things, The Who, Geno Washington, Pacific Gas & Electric, The Doors post Jim, Jimi Hendrix, The Stones etc. Thai food washed down with ahem, homemade apple juice, with the common thread being the delightful presenter Uschi Nerke, whose German is very clear. Wonder what happened to her?
Oh and also lots of Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band. The Pathe archive have released a load of rare film which is now turning up on You Tube. Outtakes from Lem's fave album of theirs The Doughnut In Granny's Greenhouse. Check out Trouser Press if you want something like heavy man.

Dumpys Rusty Nuts- somewhere in England. Check them out Regina-used to play a lot of the "Biker" weekends.Just a good, fun band I'll second that. They supported Motörhead at the Lido in Douglas, Isle Of Man during TT week back in 84 and were hilarious but musically really good too. I saw a Hawkwind song tribute by them on You Yube recently which wasn't half bad.

Thanks for that, exactly up my alley (just downloaded it to the mp3 player). As for the Hawkwind cover Adrian was talking about, that's really the bee's knees ;D : youtu.be/59wMiOnirBk

and something for Regina- these really were the best weekends- I might be wrong but I seem to remember around 40,000 bikers attending each year. I was around 18/19 when we first attended on my xs 650 chop. It was in Romney Marsh in Kent. My Great Nan (who was around 90 at the time) lived in Folkestone which was 5 miles or so up the road so we always used to nip in and see her.Funny as fuck us scruffy fucks on my chop pulling up outside her house. But wherever any bikes went a lot of the locals used to line the streets to watch us all go past. They loved us for that week of the year. Just like the Bulldog Bash-we used to take a ride out in the countryside in the day, ,find a pub, have a few beers and ride back to the campsite.Unfortunately though, when the Bulldog wasn't on ,we rode over to this pub that we had found and guess what- they didn't want our custom then!!!!!
