Yeah, when the chorus hits it's just... so fucking 80's, but the rest is quite modern. Here in Mainz fall is in full swing and it's dead leaves everywhere. The season of fear, really. I put on this song as I come back home from the office. Fits perfectly. Also: yeah, what's wrong with the production again? It sounds great. ... but then again, I'VE GOT THE COFFIN BOX VERSION, OOOOH HAR HAR ;D ;D

All Nightmare Long is one of my favourites these days as well. That and Broken, Beat and Scarred.
The problem with the production is mostly in the guitars. There's no weight. They don't have that warm tone, either. I am fine with it, but I can see why some others would be disappointed.

Oh I'm getting it now. They are a bit metal-metal, yeah. Okay for me though. Hey and at least you can hear the bass

Thats cause they got a decent bass player in now, and not Bob Cock doing bass duties like he did on St Anger.

I am beginning to REALLY like the production. Especially the drum sound.

This album is much more better than previous ones. The best composition is "Suicide and Redemption", and "Judas kiss' is also quite nice - it's great when music becomes such complicated as those, it is for a respected listener to make him think twice. Good work!

Definitely. I love the complexity.
There is that incredibly sad moment in Suicide And Redemption, which I think is really evocative. I see the song like this: First part: the fury leading to the suicide. Final part: having failed the suicide/stopped just before dying, the redemption. Then there's that really sad, weeping part in the middle. Which is, of course, the attempted death. Masterful.
