Plus: who's better suited to express his mind loud and clear that a Motorhead fan? I'm sure Lemmy would love to debate with us (because let's face it, we rock). (What does G.Y.F. mean again?)

I am enjoying Motorizer a lot more than Inferno, but I remember being really flabbergasted and amazed by that album when it was new, so I will wait before voting.
"The Thousand names of God" is one of the best closers they've ever done.

AAAAANNNNDDD Motorizer beats KoD, but Inferno is still the winner (for me). Inferno aside: Motorizer is solid and whole, but KoD has a couple of solid platinum pearls that outshine Motorizer. Nominally: Trigger, Christine. Still, Motorizer > KoD.

I agree with Trigger, but not Christine. I find English Rose to be the same song, but better in every way. But I really don't get why so many people dislike Trigger. Other than the lyrics, of course, it was one of the best tunes the band has recorded.
I cannot choose between Inferno and Motorizer.

And any day soon a man comes to your house with this beautiful handcrafted copy of the masterpiece Motörizer... Or they are just lazy and haven't got around to put your pre-packed record in the mailbox after taking your money...

Inferno in my opinion is the best! Songs like Life's a Bitch, Smiling Like A Killer, Whorehouse Blues and Killers make me take this decision. Motörizer also has a great songs - The Thousand Names of God is my favorite - and Kiss of Death also has good songs but in a smaller proportion.

Right as this is now up and running again I guess we must include TWIY and Aftershock. All 5 are really strong albums-probably the best run of Motorhead albums in my opinion. But my favourite is The World is Yours

Aftershock and TWIY are really great albums. But I love Inferno. I think it's a classic and it's one of my favourite albums ever (including non Motörhead's albums too)

From these five:
1: Inferno 2: Aftershock 3: The World is Yours Tie: Motorizer/Kiss of Death
Kiss of Death has grown on me some, although I think Trigger, Kingdom of the Worm, Sword of Glory and Going Down suck pretty bad indeed. Love Sucker and Be My Baby though.
Inferno was an album where they didn't seem to especially go over old ground. There wasn't really any Motorhead by numbers on it. Although Aftershock is awesome and I initially liked it better than Inferno, it does seem to recycle a few riffs and melodies and some songs are "by numbers". The World is Yours I loved at first and I still like it but it was slipped a bit in my rankings. Motorizer has a few good songs but some real mediocrity that aren't awful but I never care to hear again (One Short Life, Buried Alive for example). Rock Out was fine for a bit but is utter drivel a few years down the line. Back on the Chain might be my favourite song off the album.
I think my least favourite Motorhead record of all is a toss up between Motorizer, Kiss of Death and Iron Fist. I'd give them all no less than 5/10 though.

Personal update: 1. Inferno 2. Motörizer 3. Kiss of Death 4. Aftershock 5. The Wörld is Yours OF COURSE it's radically different from Cope's Save for Inferno, which we deeply love and secretly refer to as Flash. Motörizer has aged wonderfully for me. Lots of strong lyrics there, I believe, and it's very melodic but heavy. In this sense Buried Alive is definitely one of my favourite songs in the whole Motörhead catalog.

well i must say that motorizer aged better than expected. all motorhead albums after kiss of death were dull to me at the start. motorizer is really good album actually.
i still don't play the world is yours so often. i hated all the praise it got, because it wasn't really THAT good, especially i know how to die, song which became some sort of hit, i remember everyone praising at old boards and it became setlist standard. worst MH songs in last few years came from that album in my opinion. it was ok album but nothing more really.
i should still give aftershock few more listens, i must say i ignored it in some way and album is better than i thought at first.
inferno and kiss of death would be my faves. inferno is probably number one, but fight and in the year of the wolf didn't age too good. rest of the album is killer (with terminal show being probably worst of the rest tracks)
i have soft spot for kiss of death. maybe not so much hits as on inferno, but album is consistent (god was never on your side is probably best track here)
