Stay of the buttons Riccardo until you have heard the Motörizer!
Simple? question; Which album is the best of the three after Hammered?
A bit early to create a poll like this perhaps, but these days release date means when it's available in stores...

Ahh, the Cameron Webb albums. Great producer. Lemmy stated that the extra effort the band put into Inferno was Mr. Webb's doing. Most producers would be too awe stricken to be in the same room as Motörhead to tell them how to do their thing. And most seldom last longer than two albums. Here's hoping third time's a charm.

I can't vote yet. I won't get the album until it's released on Sept 1st.
I know for sure that I won't vote for Kiss of death

Kiss of Death had some brilliant bits that were all marred by songs that didn't go anywhere. A shame. It was decent, though. Inferno was much better.

1. Inferno 2. Motörizer 3. Kiss of Death
I'm sure that Motörizer won't beat Inferno, but it has already passed Kiss of Death. And I am the first to answer the poll.

Motörizer. Sensational, I wouldn't have thought they could record such a fine album. Inferno wasn't bad but it wasn't Motörhead, more like Cameron Webb using Motörhead; just my opinion. Kiss of Death unfortunately was - and let us be honest about that - just mediocre in every way except for the artwork - similar to one of the poor 1990s albums (e.g. Sacrifice). Motörizer is the band's best effort since Orgasmatron and Another Perfect Day. Still just my opinion here - and yes, I'm going to BUY the album when it's out!

As much as the song has grown on me, I hope there's no more "Runaround Man" style songs. I'm hoping for something like "Joy of labour" which has got to be their most underrated song.

I'm getting excited about it. What kind of style is the music? Is it like Orgasmatron and APD in terms of musical direction?

2. teach you how to sing the blues: pumping song, contrasts between verses in 'fight' style and a 'snake bite love' chorus - rating: 3. when the eagle screams: hiphop intro, song has a sort of funky rythm pattern and some lemmy-bass-bursts - rating: 5. one short life: Motörhead go glammy and groovy, 'keys to the kingdom' comes to mind... - rating: 6. buried alive: lyric excerpt: 'lost in the ozone, go for a swim' - song is no ballad, though - rating: ;D 7. english rose: the kind of song i don't give a flying fuck for, 'christine'-ish but better - rating: 8. back on the chain: upbeat but with a 'top of the pops' chorus, perhaps my favourite. great guitar solo by phil! - rating: ;D 9. heroes: finally they've put something inbetween 'the game' and 'king of kings' on a record - rating: ;D 10. time is right: 'asylum choir' and lots of others come together - rating: it's hard to elaborate on these songs because there is lots of unusual stuff in them for motörhead standards so they don't always compare well to other material and i think that's the forte of this album. unfortunately, there is no stand-out track either, no neck-breaking attack, no ballad, no country-escapade - no nothing. the songs are quite uniform too; all of this must sound like a series of let downs but you'll be surprised how good this record really is. - I didn't want to compare motörizer to apd or orgasmatron; apd will never be surpassed ;D

Thanks for the overview, motoredel. Although there is no ballad, I'm glad to hear that there is a Keys to the Kingdom-esque track to take its place. I do prefer the idea of this album being more uniform than the uncomfortably eclectic Kiss of Death. Although I enjoy a wide variety, those songs didn't work well with each other at all. No synergy. According to your review, this sounds like a "more than the sum of its parts" album, which tend to become my favourites in the long run.

Oh, how are the lyrics? Kiss of Death suffered from having the worst lyrics Lemmy ever penned. It sounded like he was playing mad-libs.
