News is.... Bad magic picture disk release in December... Good?
Not when there's 4 different fucking pressings on different colours...
I have 6 copies on vinyl already and this does my head in...there's 4 because they know how daft motorheadbangers are and have to have everything!
I want them for my collection of course but when the colonel ain't getting a drink out of it...not good enough
Especially as I spent 70 quid on still unopened RSD releases...thinking that might be the last pressings for a while...
I want them of course however I can hear lem in my head singing I won't pay your price
And at nearly 30 quid each they can fuck off....
Bastards aiming for the chunk in every fans armour

Just Cos they got the power to release them, don't mean they got the right to take your money. I'm not buying these variations.

I really tried to hold back on this as I got nigh on crucified on this very forum a few months back when the lovely red, green and fuck me, OCHRE, vinyl versions of Bad Magic were released. I thought they were a bit of a rip-off then and well, those variations keep on coming don't they? I see that The World Is Yours, Aftershock and Bad Magic are to be released as a triple cd next. I think that's what tipped the balance and made me want to come and spew my disdain for this insane, cynical, motherfucking repackaging programme on here. And still, like the fool I am, I will probably buy most of them. How fucked up is that? There will always be mad bastards such as myself willing to fork out for the latest vinyl wet dream because they look fucking great, don't they? Come on, get on with it, just release Lemmy's solo album. How many variations do you think that will come in? What gimmicks will be invoked to sell some more duplicated units? I shudder to think. Answers on a amphetamine-dipped postcard to the usual address please. By the way, please don't issue the recent Saxon/ Phil and Mikkey live stuff. Just don't.

Oh and don't get me started on those $60 posters on www.imotorhead.comI won't be buying one of those. I'm still wondering if I should get a Lemmy Funko doll though. I could get it to fuck the Amy Winehauser one. Thought the forum needed a little input. It's been a bit quiet of late, hasn't it? Now back to the meth lab.

Dont want to sound disrespectful but i dont see reason to buy multiple versions of the same record anyway. I sometimes get get cheap used cd/vinyl if i dont have the other format. I only own bomber, no remorse and iron fist both on vinyl and cd
I got bad magic on cd when it came out and thats about where my motorhead story ends...
I have no desire to listen to clean your clock and for sure i have no desire to buy the cash in merchandise, i will rather spend my money on records i dont own and gigs

I have no desire to listen to clean your clock and for sure i have no desire to buy the cash in merchandise, i will rather spend my money on records i dont own and gigs I have both vinyl and cd copies of every Motorhead album except clean your clock ,which I didn't bother buying at all. This is mainly because I prefer vinyl but then I need a cd copy for the car. I personally don't bother with more than 1 copy of the album on vinyl- for me its pointless ( though I do have the Motorhead album with the silver sleeve and also on white vinyl) . Like you say Motorajzd ,I have better things to spend my money on. BUT there are people that have up to 10 ? copies of different albums on vinyl. And that is what happens when some people become a collector. Each to their own
