Has anyone watched the video posted on Mikkey's facebook page? It's he and Nicko McBrain just goofing around and as the video is about to end, Nicko: "See you soon" Mikkey: " Oh this is the last night of the tour" Nicko: "Iron Maiden, Mikkey Dee next year?" Mikkey: "Yeah yeah hopefully" Nicko: "Motorhead" Mikkey: "Motorhead, Maiden" Nicko: "Would be great? Wouldn't it?"

I don't mean to be no spoilsport (and with just one show under your belt I can understand why you so desperately want them to carry on for all eternity), but like you said they were just goofing around ; so particularly with regard to Lem's delicate constitution I reckon we'd better take all this with a pinch of salt ~ or rather a spoonful. Same goes for this astonishing declaration: bravewords.com/news/motorheads-lemmy-kilmister-in-2-years-there-will-be-another-recordI know I really should be more excited by an announcement like that .... maybe I'm just semi-permanently miserable when it comes to Motörhead nowadays.

Regina, I understand what you are saying. A missed opportunity to see the band these days really stinks because we don't know how much longer they will carry on touring and making records. I had seen the headline you mentioned and I did kind of scratch my head at that one as well. The Maiden US tour is set to be 13 shows with 3 at the end of February and 10 more in March 2016. I could see them maybe doing that but that would be right after several tour dates overseas. I just hope they don't do too much too soon. I tell you what. I do hate we never got a proper tour for Aftershock because that album is underrated in my book.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is going to happen. MH finish up their tour overseas in 2016 with time to open for Maiden over here. Maiden has added a few more shows since their initial US tour announcement but it's still only about 9-10 dates at this point. Definitely doable by the boys. Desertrat's report the other night of Lemmy's voice sounding much better makes this seem more plausible to me.

Well I will admit it , I was wrong. Some band called the Raven's Age is opening for Maiden on their tour so no Motorhead/Maiden bill.

I love both bands but not the venues Maiden play. There to big I don't want to be a mile away watching a video screen. Or is this Wrong?

I know they toured with Maiden in Summer of '03 because a buddy of mine saw one of the shows. I think it was Motorhead, Dio, and Maiden.
