I have this with dvd, but waiting for this one. I dont like to much digipak releases either, I got russian spv release in jewel case of 'Better Motorhead Than Dead', everything is the same as digipak, booklets, disc's and numbers, cover... only on back cover below it say "for russia and CIS countries only" or something like that. Everything is the same except that. This one vol 1 the wourld is ours, is only one which im waiting now. We will see, I was sending few times email to udr, no replie from them.

They still rock, but this one sounds a bit like Motörhead-by-numbers. To be honest, INFERNO was the last album I really thought was a classic; gone are the days of riffs like "Love me like a Reptile" or "We are the Roadcrew". Shame on me but I almost sometimes wish Fast Eddie would pop back in . Having said that I just can't wait for the end of November (Hamburg and Aarhus) as well as Glasgow in January, not so much that I expect the shows to be a musical revelation - au contraire, I suspect they'll be reliably mediocre - but as many of you say this tour will probably be Lem's farewell to the stage and thus the end of an era. Can't complain though, I've had my share of Motörhead gigs over the decades and unless Alzheimer kicks in early there'll be loads of memories to be cherished. Good God, do I sound awfully pompous today.

Good God, do I sound awfully pompous today. Yes gone are the days of wanting to see Motorhead a few times during a tour for me .I still think TWIY and Motorizer are superb albums ,but funnily enough I rarely listen to Aftershock anymore despite really liking it when it came out. I know what you are saying though about the old classic riffs though-limb from limb, damage case , the chase-we could go on and on . To be honest ,and obviously time will tell and maybe I will change my mind, I would be quite happy if the band bowed out at Hammy O.

Well, if they do now out it will be in Helsinki according to the tour dates announcement. I for one will be looking forward to hearing 3 numbers from the new album if they keep their promise. I've just booked my cabin on the Motorboat cruise so hoping they might premiere something on there. As for the band not coming up with classic riffs anymore, I think it all comes with hindsight. In years to come, I'm sure people will be citing the current lineup's tunes as classics. Certainly not everything, obviously but there are a few beauties even recently as far as I'm concerned. I still wish they could have played Brotherhood Of Man live for instance but they have always been straight up about playing to please themselves. Also, I think an appraisal of riffs should also be made after they have released Bad Magic. I suspect there will be some great ones on there. Like a fine wine, these things take a few listenings to mature.

current lineup made one of best albums ever - overnight sensation but in the end, i kinda think it all comes back to lemmy, philthy and eddie Like I said before-I think the last 5 albums (Inferno,KOD,Motorizer,TWIY, Aftershock) have been their most consistent run of albums in their career.Whether they haveas many classics on as the early stuff I probably don't think they do. Off hand I can think of -in the name of tragedy, one night stand,be my baby, runaround man,1000 names of god, brotherhood of man,i know how to die. There are probably a few more classics ,but if not, they are all bloody good albums.Hopefully Bad Magic will continue in their mould
And yes this line up did make Overnight Sensation, but they also made Snakebite love !!!!!!!!!
