Motörhead has released some DVD's to this date, not too many in my opinion. I miss some more solid live-shows. But anywho, which do you got, which are your favorites and why?
I got:
The Best of Motörhead Motörhead - The Birthday Party Motörhead - Live: Everything Louder Then Everything Else Motörhead - Special Edition EP Motörhead - 25 & Alive "Boneshaker" Motörhead - Ace of Spades (Classic Albums) Inside Motörhead - A Crtitcal Review
Too me Boneshaker is my favorite. As mentioned before here at the board the sound is poor, but the experience is great. Next to that I think I prefer The Birthday Party. ELTEE, do have better sound though....

I have
Boneshaker The Critical Review Ace of Spades Classic Albums Inferno Special Edition DVD The Birthday Party on VHS
The Birthday Party is probably the strongest live show of them, Boneshaker is good but could have been better in some ways. The Ace of Spades DVD is good, has some great interview footage. Critical review is OK considering it's just a bunch of journalists giving us their opinion, referring to Motorhead in a past tense...

I'm suspicious of the "Critical Review" one, Is it ONLY critics giving their opinions?, or does it have some music videos on it as well?
The way it's worded on the packaging , makes it hard to tell.
I saw a KISS dvd , that was worded the same, gambled and got a "turd", all talk and no rock.
Also saw a Rainbow dvd from the same series as the Motorhead.

If you've seen the Rainbow one, I would expect all of the DVDs in the "Inside ___, A Critical Review" series to be the same. I assume it's just people who aren't necessarily connected to the band talking about what they like or don't like about each of the band's albums, with only short video clips of the band, no whole videos. There's many angry comments on amazon.com from people who bought them without carefully reading the description and were expecting a concert video.
Even if you know what you're getting, It's probably something you would only watch once.

It's basically comments from critics with video clips. They only cover up to Orgasmatron and talk about Motorhead in the past tense most of the time. You get the impression some of the critics either don't know that Motorhead are still kicking arse or they are part of the "classic" line up fan biy mob who don't care. Either that or it's a record company thing that they only cover that period.
Probably the sort of thing you'd enjoy if it were on TV but you'd be disapointed in if you expected a good DVD. I found it OK but I watched it as if it were a TV show.

The other DVD you are taling about is called "The best of". The cover art is also used for a re-pressing of "Titties and vodka".

But you dfo have the bootlegs from me as well don't you? Yeah, I have'em. I got the Stage Fright DVD here the other day. I liked it. The sound was better than on Boneshaker (not good but better). I think this one takes over the place as my favorite.
