Phil was excellent in his first stint in Motorhead, but when he returned for RnR, he'd lost it completely - on the last tour he did, he couldn't play Overkill!

That's my opinion too: He was really great until the return.

wow he lives in LA cooolll ;D Yeah, illegally apparently also. So he is locked into the US now I guess. I agree about his 2nd drum visit. Overkill was dropped from the set for a while and that was a big loss to the set. Still though, neither Pete or Mikkey could drum the intro to Stay Clean.

Putting Sherlock HOlmes hat on I would say that the footage from that DVD is obviously shot in LA with Eddie being mixed in from some London footage. As for being a pain in the ass.....I think he is just being funny

I think he seems like one of those guys that's in every pub that is funny in small quantities but annoying after a while.
I just found him very annoying indeed on the DVD.

I got a couple of good friends who like to do some speed from time to time and that's why watching philthy on the anniversary dvd was like watching a good friend - furthermore i think that he gives good insight into the band's past nad actually manages to mellow down old lem who appears to be in a 'fuck him, her and all the other c..s' mood which disapointed me a bit. eddy and phil are really cool guys and i like that dvd immensly!
