After lots and lots of talk and delays the Frankie Miller tribute CD aptly titled "A Tribute To Frankie Miller" was released April 7th. Brian "Robbo" Robertson plays on no less than four tracks "Caledonia" with Fish, "Ain't Got No Money" with Rob Lamothe, "It's As Good As Gone" with Lulu and "Danger, Danger" with Transaudio. Other artists who gave their time and talent to pay tribute to Frankie and to help raise funds to contribute to his enormous medical expenses include: actor Robert Carlyle, who introduces the album, Ray Wilson, Michael Marra, The Proclaimers, Nazareth, Rico, Jackie Leven, BMX Bandits, Maggie Bell, Cosmic Rough Riders with Joe Walsh, John Martyn, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Bonnie Tyler, Graham Lyle, Jim Diamond and the McCluskey Brothers. The initial first batch released by Eagle Rock Records (ETGBX277) will contain a bonus third CD, and after that the general release will be a 2-CD set.
I got this info from Artyom Golev (mhb1916).
