Whatever instrument you play, what was the first song you were able to play on it?
I've been playing guitar for... well, not very long, but my first song was Dropkick Murphys - "Fightstarter Karaoke". yours?

"Look Mom! A time machine!" Hmmm...Memory's hazy, but Greensleeves on classical guitar, and either Ride On by AC/DC, or Sooner Or Later by the Dixon-House Band, or High Class In Borrowed Shoes by Max Webster...On the Fender bass.

The first song I could play all the way through was Deep Purple's "Space Truckin".........Before that, like most beginners I'd learn a part and thought I'd learned a song........until I played with a "real" guitarist.

The Times they are a Changing on Harmonica, but it was also the one and only for many years.
I split up with the guy who was teaching me.
But now I am learning to play the flute.
I have Ian Anderson humming away in my head.

First song I learned on bass was Stand by me Im still in the beginning stages myself its hard to fit the bass playing in with work and the other millon things that have to be done in a day ;D

First of all hello. Second ive only been playing guitar for a little while, the first song ive learnt through is Louie Louie piece of piss really but it sounds good and thats all that matters.
