All I can really add is look at the set lists from the 1916 tour, most of the songs ain't that fast, and on the "Everything louder than everything else" video, Phil seems to be struggling with fast stuff like AOS.

Still good questions:
Tommy Aldridge or Philthy?
If Lemmy was a Hamster?

Well I have never heard this before. I refuse to believe it myself-like someone else mentioned ,Phil obviously was the drummer on the tour ,and back in those days the band played more than 1 or 2 new songs during the setlist so Philthy would have to have been ok to do these.Maybe sour grapes from Pete? Don't suppose we will ever know -wish I hadn't read this thread now as 1916 is a first class album

I always felt the drums sounded different on 1916 than on previous albums with Phil, but never once considered he didnt play them. Im still not convinced it wasn't Phil becuase,as has been suggested already, why drag him round on tour if he was that bad? If you cant get it right in a studio how the hell you to be expected to get it right live?
Maybe if he was struggling a bit at the time it affected his style of playing? Dunno how these things work, not being a drummer, but i don't really want to consider it isn't Phil myself.

Philthy was on 1916. He was on 'March or die' album song 'I aint no nice guy'. Mikkey was on Hellraiser, rest of the March or die was Tommy. "1916" was pure Philthy. Every other info is lie.

I think Philthy played on 1916. Just watch this www.youtube.com/watch?v=9i8WGcB64cAThey did these tracks from 1916: No Voices In The Sky The One To Sing... I'm So Bad Brazil Angel City Love Me Forever Ramones AND faster ones like Dr Rock, Sister, Traitor, Spades etc. And about March ör Die: I Ain't No Nice Guy - played by Philthy (probably, I dont actually know, because I heard somewhere that he couldnt play that drum track and thats why he was fired.) Hellraiser - played by Mikkey Dee Every other track - played by Tommy Alridge

It has to be Philthy on 1916. The hi-hat proper gives it away. I would say the kick drum too but it's so low in the mix it's hard to tell. Plus the Everything Louder video Philthy is still playing bloody 116ths on the hi-hat haha with one hand. On MoD the 'faster' songs are halves on the hi-hat where-as Philthy would've been all over the place on them so those songs were Aldridge for sure.
I mean, listen to how Mikkey Dee plays a lot of songs live, especially the 'classic' songs. He does halves on the hi-hat, which takes away the speedfreak urgency that Philthy had. Like that AoS thing with Slash and dave bloody grohl - grohl to a certain extent sounds like Mikkey in his style.
Defo Philthy on 1916, otherwise he couldn't have played that tour. Just watch Traitor....

I have to say... Aldridge played only at March or Die... never heard about 1916 and Animal played the songs very well on the following 1916 tour... Everything Louder you can see he is very well ...

Philthy was on 1916. Aldridge was on March Or Die album, except songs 'I aint no nice guy' and 'Hellraiser'. All other things are troll and disinformation.

I don't know what you would get from them. Lem could have set the record straight in his autobiography, but he only brushed on the subject. It is well known that Lem won't say a bad word against Philthy, and I think Phil Campbell would have to tow the party line. The only other people who could throw light on the matter are no longer in the band, and certain people have trashed their reputations, so anything they say will be interpretted as sour grapes. My sources have no reason to lie to me, nothing to gain, and they told me about this three years apart, and seperately. Philthy was on 1916. Aldrige was on March or die, except songs 'I ain no nice guy' and 'hellraiser'. All other things are not true.

When I listen 'The One To Sing The Blues' song and 'RNR' album there are differences. You can hear differences on 'Eagle rock' or 'dead mans hand' parts drumming and compare to the 'rnr' album.
If something like this happened, it would be more logical that Aldrige was on some songs, I just cant believe that he played complete album and we dont know about it???!! There were so many fans backstage etc... somebody somewhere would say something.
This is just hard to believe. I mean everything is posible on this world, but its hard to believe. Only Phil Campbell now can tell us truth. Why someone dont ask him in interview or twitter?
Official history is known, Aldrige was on March Or Die album only.
