Anything to oblige... It's English slang for 'Speed Freak', or amphetamine use/abuser, IIRC. Also, Jim 'Motorhead' Sherwood, of the 1960's Mothers of Invention (hosted by Frank Zappa) recieved the name because of his fascination with automobiles.

I read in an albumcover I think that Motorhead as a bandname meant a crazy driver or something, that's maybe the "official" meaning?

I think Motorhead the band name means a fast driver or biker. Motorhead the song I think is about amphetamines (speed).

Most people i know consider it , a person who does a lot of "crystal-meth" which is a speed type stuff you snort like cocaine, only it will keep you up for days depending on the amount you do. it used to be very popular amongst truck drivers

As far as I know it's American police slang for a convicted amphetamine abuser or general slang for a speeding driver.

crystal meth/speed freak, thats what Lemmy named the song for. It also means some body who loves to work on car engines, ya know, 454 BIG BLOCK, 350 ROCKET GOLD. CHEVY RULES!
