Oh wow, this thread had stayed inert for almost eleven years. Pasi, you're a good man.

Always nice to see and hear "new bands". Language is not issua for me, i still get something from the music even don´t understand lyrics. Rock goddess reminds me of Vixen in the early days. Eleven years, wow.

I saw Vixen opening for the Scorps in the 90s and they were bloody good! Rock Goddess back would be worth a watch

I recently stumbled upon this Swedish all girl band (the song as such ain't much to write home about, but I totally dig the singer's vocals. Dirty.) THUNDERMOTHER "It's just a Tease" : youtube.com/watch?v=01t63Z6BVs8

I recently stumbled upon this Swedish all girl band (the song as such ain't much to write home about, but I totally dig the singer's vocals. Dirty.) THUNDERMOTHER "It's just a Tease" : youtube.com/watch?v=01t63Z6BVs8 Actually, I really enjoyed that song and the band. Reminded me of early Girlschool but with a raunchy vocal. Anyone here remember Cheetah? They were around in 83/84 when Rock Goddess were first doing the rounds. I also remember Rock Goddess on a TV programme called Riverside doing a couple of tunes including one called Satisfied Then Crucified. Also, earlier in the thread Mark mentioned them in connection with ECT. Yes, Motörhead did the opening show as I was there and can be seen gurning away during Bomber in front of Lemmy in his white tuxedo. Watch out for Lem's bass-tech Johnny Allen, who was forced to wear a rabbit suit for the show by the band! Also on that show were Lords Of The New Church, Magnum (who bored me to tears) and back on the subject of this thread, the wonderful Madam X, with sisters playing the drums and guitar. Gated did I have a crush on the guitarist! The heady days of 1985!
