The Nomads: Showdown 2-The 90's. Started listening to this on the bus ride to work this morning. Will listen to it more thoroughly this weekend.
The Devil's Music - a comp put out by Uncut mag of Keith Richard's personal picks of some blues, soul and R&B stuff. Great.
Stones - Live at Madison Square Garden 1/18/03 and Live at Palais Royale 8/16/02. YAY!

I remember when that was in the metal charts in about '90. I only ever heard a clip as they rolled through the top ten on "The Power Hour" (late 80's early 90's UK metal show).
I remembered them all this time even though I never really heard 'em. Now of course over 10 years later we have American Dog. Michael Hannon of AD was in Salty Dog.

Michael Hannon of AD was in Salty Dog. As well as Dangerous Toys, right? I had that bit of trivia pop into my head when I read someone's post about heckling the Toys off the stage.

Today I bought two CDs: BLACK LABEL SOCIETY - "1919 Eternal". Really good. Zakk Wylde is a very powerful musician. Rock n roll with bourbon smell. KOMA - "Molestando a los vecinos". This is a band from the basque country that can be defined as "Pantera meets punk rock". Corrosive and humorous lyrics and good raw metal. Excellent.

I haven't bought a new album in a while. Trying to save cash. I'll probably buy the couple of albums I need to complete my Motorhead catalogue next.

There must be a medical name for people like us, who buy cds we don't really need but we buy them anyway. Or we buy go out and binge on cds. CDHolic, Musicolic or just plain insane. ;D Well I just come back from a holiday as you all know, and damn didnt I half binge on music during that week. The last album I bought was Real McKenzies, and today I just bought Stereophonic's new single Madame Helga. I'm not a huge fan of Stereophonics I just bought the cd because I liked the tune. Jeff

I hope that at least by the end of this week (or maybe tomorrow, if I'm lucky), I'll have None More Black's debut album, "File under Black". It's release date is tomorrow, which is why I'm hoping to have it by then. I doubt any stores will have it right away, though. Just take a look at the amazing cover art: images.amazon.com/images/P/B00009EIRG.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg [/img]
