excellent, let us know how that goes! I liked Celtic Frost but never saw them . Quiet few weeks then Maiden in June, looking forward to that Because the huge problems with petrol , seems a lot of fans couldn´t reach the place what was a really shame. Around 600 fans checked them... Geez... awesome . Nine songs from Celtic Frost, three from Hellhammer and three from his actual band. For us was a huge surprise to have a lot from CF since they never came to Brazil ... Great night. Warrior´s voice sounds exactly like in the records, like Halford in Judas... and his trade mark... Uh!!! lol... so cool... Nice one, sounds a cracking night. Petrol prices rising here but clearly no issues like you have in Brazil

Evening all. Saw Maiden and Arch Enemy in Munich Konigsplatz on Saturday night, big thunderstorm blew itself out early evening and sun came out again. Lovely square, big old buildings on all sides of the square , very impressive venue. Arch Enemy were not my cuppa, Iron Maiden clearly were, very good set, lots off Piece of Mind and staging excellent as usual. I won’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen the show, sound was great and they played a blinder.
Sunday was a train to Hannover ( was going to rent car and drive then realised how bloody far it was, 5hours on train and I reckoned it would have been 7-8 hours via road), venue Sunday was the Expo Plaza, very different to Konigsplatz as basically a big conference complex with an arena one side and hotels surrounding a plaza outdoors where the show was, maybe 15000 people . Killswitch Engage were excellent. I’m clearly a fan, but very odd when you se e an excellent show 8n Munich which you can’t fault, and then the next night blows it out the water. They were stunning, crowd on board from first song, just an absolute exhilarating show. Met some lovely people, and after the show back in city for 1130 where the first bar we fo7nd was Jack the Ripper English pub lol 😆 . A great weekend, well worth the trip, forgot how much I like Germany. Will definitely be back over there again. Got a couple if UK shows in August too, hopefully run into Paul (lardomatic) that used to be on here at those

I get them through the fan club presale so get them several days before . Only thing I was unimpressed with was they put them on sale a month before Xmas so was a bit of a financial kicking tbh

Don’t laugh but courtesy of a relative we have 4 guest list tickets for a 1980s festival next weekend featuring Jason Donovan, Mark Alm9nd, UB40, Toyah Wilcox and others, pleased that Bruce Foxtons From The Jam are on as I like them. Free tix includingdrinsks and food though

The 1980s show was very bizarre, some great backing bands but the singing was very poor. Was a blazing hot day so the VIP area with food, free bar and decent toilets really helped, wife and kids loved it . Not sure any on here will recall this band, but we had the lead singer from a boy band called Brother Beyond with us much of the day, terrible band but was a lovely guy . From the Jam were clearly band of the day by a distance

Maiden were excellent , didn’t manage to see Killswitch but Maiden on top form. Saw Lardomatic who used to be on here, who was there both nights also. He’s well. I’m off to France for holidays on Friday so will say hello when I’m back
