I know Motörhead fans are completists but there must be certain things you've turned your nose up at, either because it's exploitative official or unofficial. Lemmy t-shirts marking his death spring to mind as do some of the tackier merch store items. Who has got one of those nasty knitted jumpers for instance?
I saw the Victory Or Die one track cd yesterday and thought they were taking the piss charging 20 pounds for it so it did not go in my collection. Any takers on this thread.

There's not a whole lot of Motörhead stuff I wouldn't get if the price was right, but for now, a lot of prices are pretty exploitative. For example, I bought the cardstock sleeve Electricity/Thunder & Lightning single for a couple of dollars at Best Buy. I saw one on eBay the other day for 25 dollars. That's crazy for a 10-month-old single with album tracks only. It's like people think anything that says Motörhead is worth a million bucks now. But I quite liked the knitted Christmas jumper situation. I just didn't like the price.

I got the Xmas box with the jumper in it...for free! Ordered whilst pissed up and then promptly emailed the company and cancelled the order getting a refund...the set still turned up! Happened again with the bad magic box set...cancelled my Amazon pre order after being told it would arrive after the release date and it arrived anyway!

Have you seen how much some of those plastic and pewter badges are from the seventies and early eighties. Don't get me started on tour t-shirts... |
