Bee good if something was organised over here in the UK too. Sadly a trip to LA is beyond me and I'd love to say goodbye at something formally organised.

There seems to be a few folk asking for 1 last gig....I'm not keen on the idea personally. I would love a MHB get together though. Much rather chat, booze and listen to records then hear Dave ghrol sing AOS...still no news on the funeral arrangements...

Have no fear...once my computers sorted that's my main priority... Cheers

Not sure about this myself - seems a bit weird . Yeah, that's why I left the link un-commented in the first place .... trying hard to keep my sharp tongue under control and all that

You may be right, but it's the closest to a 'state funeral' for a guy we all love and will miss, so I'll be watching it.

Please don't get me wrong Fester coz that's perfectly fine with me; I'd never believe you'd watch it out of some bizarre sense of voyeurism, but because of true and heartfelt sympathy. Nonetheless I find the idea of a public worldwide broadcast somewhat sick ~ if you ask me, a funeral service should remain a private and personal matter. I wouldn't object to a "Rainbow"-afterparty webcast though, would love to watch that. But then again, maybe that's just me and my approach as a pre-interwebz dinosaur - anyway, hope I didn't come across too much as a member of the holier-than-thou brigade now.

Regina, no that's fine.... You see I was thinking that this might be more of a celebration of his life rather than a traditional funeral.
In any case, it's the closest any of us can get to saying goodbye!

Ive got Pilch, Elaine and Shane coming over to get drunk and watch with me and the missus. Its not voyeurism to me, just paying respects with a massive glass of JD and coke in my hand
