A few years ago Lard very kindly put some Metallica gigs onto cdr's for me. There are 18 discs and the gigs follow on from the one before (rather than change to another cd) I have sorted them out and put the gigs I want onto cdrs for myself so these are now spare. If anyone wants 18 cdr's of live Metallica gigs they are more than welcome. Depending on the postage I might want some money for that but the cd's I will pass on. These are the gigs- Download 2012,Milton Keynes 1993,Sonisphere 2011,London 1984,San Francisco 1985,Cape Girardeau 1986,Sweden 1987,London 1995,Nottingham 2009,San Fran 2011-the 3 gigs they did where the old band members rejoined them on stage
Just let me know -first person gets them

Great gig mate as Metallica gigs always are, especially back then. We also saw Guns n Roses there ,either the week before or the week after the Metallica gig.

cheers Mark, forgot about this!I'd given up on GnR by t hen, but that Tallica show was seriously good. Was a period I loved them, saw them the year after in Detroit. And then mid 90s it started to fall apart a bit for me, the Donington show in 95 wasn't great I recall, oh well

Saw them with Cliff and then Jason and Rob and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed with them live. For me there aren't many better live bands. Album wise, well that's another matter!!! Theres only 4 albums I listen to really-Kill em all, ride the lightning, death magnetic and puppets. As for GnR that was the one and only time I saw them .Brilliant band ,shame axl was/is a twat though.Could and should have been one of the best bands ever.

I saw GnR at hammersmith on their first tour and were excellent except for axls attitude, gave up on Metallica in late 90s, although I concede most gigs I saw were good to excellent. Recall the Earlscourt show in maybe 97 not being great, the Reading headliner around that time ditto, did see an excellent show outdoors in Canada in 98 and that was about it for me. Cant go see everyone, can I?! look forward to that cd though, much appreciated

Just let me know -first person gets them Do you still have that bottle of Motorhead lager in payment Mark? I saw the band at Milton Keynes in '93 as well. Great day out with some cracking sunny weather as I recall. Diamond Head, The Almighty, Megadeth and Metallica. Diamond Head weren't great, The Almighty were decent, Megadeth not too bad and Metallica rocked as I recall. Spent most of the day on the hill at the back, but got down pretty close to the front for Metallica. Happy days

Do you still have that bottle of Motorhead lager in payment Mark? Firstly its about bloody time that you showed yourselve on this forum again Lard-where have you been ? Don't tell me you are having to work during the day now so you don't get time to look at the internet cause I wont believe you As for the bottle of motorhead beer, after having it in my car for download and then some other gig where ,presumably, we must have missed each other afterwards I ended up drinking it as it had gone out of date. I still have an empty bottle if you want one though
