Slash is excellent, hope you thoroughly enjoy Pedro. Keep eyes peeled for a RUSH announcement this year, suspect Europe and South America will be getting visits 2016 but they usually announce a year ahead

I've read some Peart's headlines saying he was not sure about going on touring... so this words of you really cheered me up! Let's cross fingers!

Next up for me is the postponed Saxon gig at Rock City. Can't wait as they are a band who have never disappointed me live. Shame Nigel isn't ready to climb back behind the kit yet, but it will be a fantastic night anyway I'm sure.

Saw Slipknot and they were much better than when I had seen them before.Maybe cause it wasn't a festival and was indoors!!! But came out very impressed. Korn had everyone moving and went down a storm (don't like them myself-felt like I was the odd one out!!) As for King 810- I was looking forward to seeing these seeing as they are supposed to be the next big thing. They only played for 30 minutes and were ok.Bit too much of the same, there wasn't anything different in the set. Back to Slipknot- Clown did a walkabout in the crowd where he came up into the seated area, stood in the row behind us (4/5 people along from us) behind 2 girls during 1 song.He then made his way across the row high fiving everyone and stood with his hands on my 2 kids heads. Neadless to say that made both their nights !!!

Have tried king 810 and yeah, cant see the next big thing despite the hype. Amon amarth were excellent in Leamington last night, even if I did feel a bit of a twat "unleashing my inner Viking!", a great live band, Huntress were good, execellent girl singer, but sadly missed Svage messiah

So all I have lined up now for the year is an AC/DC/ZZ Top sandwich. 'DC in Madrid in May, ZZ Top in London in June, 'DC again in London in July. Best get saving.
After that I got nothing, saving up time and money for the 40th tour

Possibly Steven Wilson in March in wolves, but at £45 I'm not convinced, lot of money for a show basically centred on his new unreleased album. A few punk shows this year, POSSIBLY ZZ, definitely the Scorpions etc at Ramblin man, Trivium in august and steve Hackett in November Oh and of course the Motorhead 40th show too (TBC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
