(still one album per band)

I'm gonna go top 5 non Motorhead albums:
Let There Be Rock Iron Maiden Denim And Leather Appetite For Destruction The Sound Of White Noise
Put me on a desert island with those plus a handful of Motorhead LP's (and the means to play them of course) and I would be just fine

Motorhead-Orgasmatron Machine Head- Burn my Eyes Metallica- Kill em all Twisted Sister -Under the Blade A7X -Nightmare Right I think I have to change mine now.I think this album I am about to put down has been released around 8 months or so now.I can honestly say that there hasn't been a week since release that I haven't listened to this album more than a couple of times and I think it is as good,if not better, than when I first heard it . I might even go as far as to say that this is probably the finest album ever. Therefore I have to replace Machine Head burn my eyes with Machine Head _Bloodstone and diamonds

'Finest album ever'? that is big talk mate. I reckon I'd give you about 20 albums to contend for that title, and still come back to add ones I forgot to mention. Must be a great LP.

1 Motörhead - Overkill and Bomber double play cassette (the only way I can get two of my favourites in one) 2 AC/DC - If You Want Blood just for Bad Boy Boogie alone! 3 Led Zep 3 -to calm down from the above or Love Forever Changes 4 Young Gods - L'eau Rouge 5 Deep Purple - any Mark 2 but probably In Rock or Fireball or Machine Head!!! Ah fuck it. I don't want to play anymore. This is too difficult. It could equally have been early stuff by The Dead Kennedys or Damned. I am struggling to like much recently. Obviously, Aftershock was great as I'm sure Bad Magic will be but I don't hear much to hold my attention. I loved Queens Of The Stone Age then they seemed to have gone off the boil. There are a load of songs I like but not a whole album.

It certainly is Paul ( well for me anyway ) . I don't remember constantly listening to an album week in ,week out , for such a length of time .You know what its like when you get a new album and its good-it stays with you for a few weeks , but like I said this has been 8 /9 months and it is still there. I don't remember being hooked on an album for a long time -probably since I was a teenager !!!!!!
