If it was aired on British TV over Christmas, then maybe they'll show it again this coming Christmas.....

I have only watched this once so far, but I was amazed by this DVD. I thought it would be a glossing over of the "Ace of Spades" album, but it was much more than that.
Actually the album was really kind of "in the background" it seemed to me. In the forefront were the relationships that Eddie/Phil/Lemmy had with each other and their road crew, friends, etc. They tell some hilarious stories and it's great to see Philthy again - looking a bit bigger and somewhat pasty, but aren't we all.
There is lots of extra interview footage of guys like Mick Farren and The Eagle, as well as some British rock journalists that is fascinating.
Best of all - and the thing that really makes this program - is how Lemmy and Phil get off on being around each other again. It shows you a side of Lemmy and of Philthy that I've rarely, if ever, seen. And Eddie Clarke is an awesome interview, as well as a really funny and "together" guy. What pleasure this thing is to watch! STEVE

Seems to me it was 106 minutes. I'm at work though right now and don't have access to it. It was pretty long, anyhow.

I think we're confusing our DVDs here. I just got my copy and I'd forgotten that it isn't the classic albums one. "Inside Motorhead" is the critical review. I still need to get the Ace of Spades documentary.

Well the Inside Motorhead is a pretty good DVD. Basically critics and journalists praising the Kilmister/Clarke/Taylor line up. Only disapointing thing about it is that the review only goes up to Orgasmatron. It focuses only on the Bronze years. Maybe this was a contractual thing? Another annoyance is that Motorhead are referred to in the past tense quite a lot.
Worth having if you can overlook those negatives though.
