Do UK pressings of Iron Fist on black vinyl really exist? They are about the only Motorhead collectible that I have heard about but never actually seen an example of.
If they are real, then presumably they were radio station promos or jukebox copies - if they were commercially released surely we'd see more of them?
I've seen probably a dozen of the silver 600 go over Ebay in the last 5-6 years, but never a black Iron Fist!

I have seen it on 'bay went for something around €50 or so... As you can see on the picture it has green label not the Bronze label, same type of label as the second pressing of 'spades single. The collection belongs to Peter Wagner (Germany) As you can see he also have three Fuck off EP:s, I'd be happy with two...

Interesting, it looks like it has a large centrehole (bit hard to be sure) - so a jukebox version? I've not any green plastic bronze pressings that had press-out centres.

Both spades and valentine has small centreholes, eventhough the labels have large holes... Perhaps Mikko or Petri can put some light on this matter?

You´re right Peder! Just looked at my black Bomber 7": you can make the the centerhold to "jukebox" hole if you snap the part off, you know. My copy is totally mint so the centerhold is still small and it haven´t been "fingered".

What a fecker I was writing about Bomber 7". Yes, my black Iron fist 7" has got a small centerhole inside the green label. So mine is different than on the pic which is taken from Wagners collection. Maby there´s around jukebox hole ones too, I haven´t got that.

This is all really interesting. So the black Iron fist singles aren't actually original issues - they're from when the Bronze singles were reissued with green plastic labels?
The centres of the plastic label singles are quite thin - and I reckon they could be easily drilled out to fit a jukebox. So I think Peter Wagners shrine copy may be a modified one rather than a special juke box pressing.
I still don't really understand why we don't see more black Iron Fist singles for sale though.

Probably cos there were enough red and blue made to cover the sales. The limited red edition was made in quite plenty copies, enough records for everybody in todays modern world...

Sorry I missed this topic. I don't know the amounts of copies made but as you know the red one is the most common, then blue and the rarest (smallest number of copies) is the black one. You don't see it for sale very often... Here's mine, sorry for the bad quality. I don't think there exists any jukebox versions unless someone drilled the center off, as el matarife said before.
