Where from comes the maxim ? it is in the lyrics of "black lether jacket" ? who composed this song ?

The root of these phrases, lio, as in many things adapted by bikers, lies in the WW 2 conflict. Such slogans were usually painted on aircraft, bombers and the like, as decoration. As the war closed, returning servicemen (who became the core element of the motorcycling boom in the 1950's-'60's USA) would decorate their bikes with these slogans...some would use them as club names, i.e. 'Hell's Angel'. I don't know the song you speak of...Of course, Motorhead has both 'Live to Win' and 'Born to Lose' as song titles. Also, the biker exploitation movie from the 1960's, Born Losers, with Jack Nicholson. ? RC

i tell the song "black lether jacket" where sing lemmy, this song is available on a bootleg "newcastle 82" (last show of eddie, but is it true ?) . it's a studio recorded song but i don't know the name of this band . i try to send you the mp3.
