Well I suppose you have disscussed about this CD before, but you know why I think it's good aswell beside the individual tracks. I like the order of the tracks. It opens loud - with civil war, than party time - Crazy like a fox, a bit deeper on I don't believe a word, and on and on with a perfect ending listen to your hart.

Ziggy,
I've never noticed that with Overnight Sensation, next time I listen to the album I will listen carefully to the order.

It's one of my favourites. In the top 5, actually, with no competition. I know that Agent Orange thinks it's the best. I think he started a thread about this album somewhere a long time ago. Anyway. If Agent Orange reads this: Have a good stay in NZ.

most underrated MH album ever. was my favorite, now it would probaby be ace of spades, but it is one of BEST albums they ever made.
crazy like a fox and i dont believe a word are killer tracks, but what makes this album so good in my opinion are last three tracks. shake the world is one of motorhead's secret gems which never got any praise unfortunately.
killer album by lemmy and co

Agreed on Eat the Gun. A good idea in principle, good social critique, but poor execution.

He's great, Broken is a such cool song and Listen to your heart, despite mellow, pleases me because reminds me Beatles.

A superb album.... and the guitar solo in Overnight Sensation itself is my Favourite EVER SOLO!! Sheer genius, though too short. give it a listen.

I have the impression that Overnight Sensation and Snake Bite Love are these two albums that the band just churned out with relatively little thought, and this sort of light-hearted approach resulted in extremely strong albums overall. They don't sound over-thought or convoluted, just spontaneous. Excellent lyrics as well. Broken has some of the smartest lyrics I've ever heard. Extremely quotable.

Overnight Sensation was the album that threw me a wobbler. Still does. Crazy Like A Fox is that rock n roll Lemmy goes on about - "You make me feel, Like I'm back at school". Wonderful!! Harmonica/bass solo - megawow!!! Then there's that bloody perfect Overnight Sensation song. Beautiful bass intro that carries the entire song all the way through. The live thing on youtube of it is sweet as. I used to have this VHS compilation of Motorhead off the telly and there was this Italian kids show on it that had a tour bus tour, Campbell in a cow suit and Motorhead playing Overnight Sensation and AOS (with a Lemmy fuck up!) wish I still had that vid coz it ain't on youtube....anyway that album is purely the 1 like. Although what is up with the weird snare drum arse-up on Listen To Your Heart? Is it Mikkey or a bad digital edit? Broken, Broken.....wow what a chorus
