He’s fine and in good health before anyone worries, he’s just had to resort to putting a large chunk of his share of the Priest back catalogue up for auction because the huge golf club and country house he built about 15 miles from me is an endless money pit and he can’t afford it and has debts. With the cash he had, he should have just done an Alice Cooper and played golf every bloody day of his life rather than try this. Shame.

Interestingly his latest venture, the Steel Mill metal club in Wolverhampton has some gigs on, and he’s got Vince Neil from Motley Crue playing in July. Now, as Mark will agree, Crue are always entertaining , but blimey the ticket price is £43 , for Vince in a bloody club. Never understand the reason8ng with promoters and pricing, they’ll wonder why it’s not packed out and yet it’s obvious to me

Your comment made me laugh though Well if he couldn’t sing great in his heyday, he sure as hell cant now! I’m going to try and win tickets in the local paper. I did see them at the Dominion theatre not long after their first uk show at Donington and they weren’t shabby, but the huge success and drugs and egos hadn’t kicked in at that point.

He's even sold his share on the rights of the old Priest's oeuvre, obviously ....

Looks like he's in some kind of deep water actually financially seen

Very true Regina, that’s what it sounds like . Interestingly, earlier in the year he made some comments to the effect that he’d play with Priest again under the right circumstances. Wonder if that was his last chance for a big payday to ease his financial worries. Richie Faulkner seems to be doing a good job in his absence

Something very serious went between them... they could call him back after Tipton ´s health problems but didn´t really sad. Firepower is one of the best records of this year ...

It is, however, lovely to see tha5 Glenn has shown up on stage a few times on the American tour. Priest aren’t my favourite band but have a lot of integrity

Just seen Phil Mogg announced he’s winding UFO up next year. Phil is a bit of an acquired taste for me, good singer but not very likeable to me. But the guy can sing and he’s promised a big 2019 UK tour so I think I’ll go watch them a final time.

Suggest hold fire for an Anthrax headline tour then, I much prefer them to Slayer as you probably know !
