Dear everyone, It has happened. Lemmy is dead. We knew this would happen, but couldn't imagine the reality. I couldn't at least. I'm gutted. Do something he would have liked. Play Motörhead, play it loud. Make a toast. Motörhead, remember him now. Here is the Facebook link. Here is the thread I made on our own group's page.

I am doing that as we speak! Fuck the neighbours if they don't like it, but the legend is still alive here and he is keeping everyone awake as he would have wanted!

Well done! Give the man a Viking funeral, I'm doing the same.

"Rock and roll is about not losing your dreams." Lemmy on a radio show 20 years ago in Buenos Aires. I never forgot this line. Thanks for everything. Lemmy. Nothing left to say...

I'm thankful for many things to Lemmy. Totally devastated about his passing. I'm going to watch Lemmy movie and everyother document and live-dvd that I have and drink some Jack&Coke for his memory. As said in the Lemmy movie "He wouldn't want people to be sad. He'd want everyone to drink and be celebrate his life instead".

I've read it from several sources but it's still hard to believe. RIP Lem.

It's a crusher, and reading it on here meant nothing until I just saw the article on the BBC National News.
To be fair they just did a very good and fitting tribute to the man.

He said 'I don't want to live forever'.... and apparently he's not. Gutted at this news today, and it's like losing an old friend,or even worse than that. Motorhead have been a constant in my life since 1978/1979, and apart from live gigs, they still will be. Won't be the same though.
He's been KILLED BY DEATH.
