Burston is pretty much mixed..just needing master and finishing of art etc...some gigs are being booked...check segregates Facebook for details... Wurzel's would be proud! I'll have to ask the missus to check the dates as I don't do Facebook ... Hope I can catch you live when I'm back. By the way, Bastard played the Leeds area back in around 1986. There seems to be little trace of them apart from a forum on punk77.net. There's a guy who used to post on there under the name Skyllduggery called Pete Whitelick who I used to share a flat with in Leeds 6 many moons ago. He sang for a band from Wetherby known as Call Me Legion. There's a few bits and pieces of there's on YouTube. They used to support Bastard at a few gigs in Leeds. Their guitarist, Kris was a friend too and is worth checking out. We went to see Venom with Exodus supporting in 86 in Manchester and Newcastle. Memories of getting up in the morning in North Shields with a crate of fresh Newcastle Brown from the brewery and ears hissing after a very noisy gig!

Sounds interesting, I love finding old punk bands lost in time...

I know a record store in Oldenburg (Lower Saxony, near Hannover), that's doing gigs quite regularly - e.g. the likes of Savage Master, Lethal Steel, Kenn Nardi.... I'm going to ask if they'd be interested..... if YOU are interested, that is. I'll pm you my email address, 'cause I'd need a contact address to get in touch.

Hey Smell hows things. I was in a local second hand record shop yesterday and found a cd of a local punk band that I used to watch a lot years ago. Apparently ,according to the shop owner, they are still going .The band is called Sick on the bus, and according to the owner, a couple of them play in the Varrucas ? Anyway a band worth checking out if you haven't heard about them. Also while I was in there he gave me a flier for this, which you probably know about www.rebellionfestivals.com/

They are from where I live and always seemed to play our pub ( we had 2 bands that always seemed to play every month or so -them and a rock band called Ambush, both were superb ). Needless to say the cd (which is a double cd ) has brought back tonnes of good memories. Cant believe they are still playing though. If you want I will burn you a copy and send it you ( will have to check if my lad hasn't nicked them all first though). Its called-sick on the bus -suck on fuck heads
