hey Lard-what were Black veil brides like then BVB as my daughter says I have to call them were alright as it happens. Not really my bag, but I'd stand and listen to their music all day over 1D or some other such shite a 15 yr old girl could be in to. They swore too much for my liking, but my duaghter and I agreed to never speak of that again. She had a ball and I think she now has the gig bug, so some expensive times ahead I think. Put it this way, she wants me to take her to all my gigs in future, even Motorhead. The wife won't even join me for Motorhead.

And Lard, what were the Treatment and Buffaol Summer like? Excellent. Got their just in time for Buffalo Summer's set and I quite enjoyed them, even if their bass player is currently sporting a shaved head and looks suspiciously like Shrek. The Treatment were great as ever, this was the 5th time I'd seen them live. Just good high voltage rock n roll all night, with a crowd really up for it (it was a Friday night after all so plenty of booze was sunk), in a tiny 150/200 cap venue. My only gripe was the bands recent image overhaul. The lead singer looks a twat now to be honest, but I just shut my eyes and banged my head. Excellent way to wash away the crap from my weeks work.

might have a Saxon ticket for rock city for sale if anyones interested Unfortunately me and Piclh and Shane have already bought our tickets. This mean you can't go, or was this one for your lad? Looking forward to it cause much though i love most of Saxons stuff, you cant beat the holy trinity of their albums. this should be one hell of a setlist. Im hoping for Dallas 1pm . Possibly my favourite Saxon number

My son dragged me to see them BVBs on that kerrung tour about a year and a half ago. Crikey they are proper terrible like. The singer, a metal bieber, wore a brand new shiny Dead Kennedys tshirt all ripped up hmmm, while singing/whispering about half of every song. Very Fucking Lame. All the kids were going insane over this pathetic show. Thank God my son said he's grown out of them. Really feel sorry for kids these days. I mean, the frontman was saying 'Be who you are, be individual, now do what I do' and 1000 kids did what he did.... We're all lost

Nice one sound slike Nottingham for Saxon will be a good night, I'll be doing wolves. I've not seen Johnny Marr since Smiths days and they were always bloody good live so see how the week goes and if I can get there Friday. I found some Black Spiders songs on my ipod today, from some of the Classic Rock free cds, not bad at all, but the Treatment I'm struggling with frankly I cant see who the hell will headline any of the festivals next year, this year kind of wiped out all the current candidates
