This is an idea I saw on another board. What is your favorite band from A to Z? Only ONE band/artist per letter and remember that the point is not to just come up with a band on ev'ry letter, but it's supposed to be a band you really like.
These are mine...
AC/DC Black Sabbath Corrosion of Conformity Dio E Frozen Tears Gun Barrel Halford Iron Maiden Judas Priest Kiss Led Zeppelin Motörhead Nashville Pussy Ozzy Osbourne Primal Fear Q Rainbow Skew Siskin Twisted Sister UDO Van Halen WASP X Y&T ZZ Top

Only a few hits, mostly (but not exclusively) in posts by yours truly. Ah well. But I came across this old post. 11 years ago (yes, ELEVEN) this thread was created, especially for us today. I would like to update my selection. A - Alice in Chains B - David Bowie C - Leonard Cohen D - The Damned E - Explosions in the Sky F - Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, that is, not the pop band) G - Godspeed You! Black Emperor H - Jimi Hendrix I - Isis J - Joy Division K - Kyuss L - Led Zeppelin M - Motörhead N - Nirvana O - Roy Orbison P - Pearl Jam (esp. the first three albums) Q - Queens of the Stone Age R - The Ramones S - Shellac T - Tindersticks U - The Undertones V - Velvet Underground W - Tom Waits X - X Y - Neil Young Z - Frank Zappa I really wanted to include Kiss the Anus of a Black Cat (not just because of the awesomely disgusting band name, but also because of the truly excellent music), but Kyuss. EDIT: By X I do mean the band, with Exene Cervenka and John Doe.
