Well unfortunately my BP decided to be high today of all days. I thought this morning it was up and when I took it before lunch it was definitely high. (136/98) I walked some after lunch to try to bring it down. I ended up deciding not to go because of it being so high. I am on meds for it but haven't been exercising like I should. I guess I'll need to hit the treadmill some again. I hated to miss tonight but the show I saw in 2011 was great so if that ends up being the only MH show I see, I am good with that. Sorry to disappoint everyone by not having a review to post but I figured getting back late with only 3 hrs sleep before work in the morning would make my BP even higher. Maybe next time, if there is one. Cheers!

Great posts, my brothers...and meanmachine I am so sorry you had to miss the show.
The Philly show on 9/22 was excellent, in spite of Lemmy's very frail appearance.
I was within 20 feet of the stage & had a blast.
Mikkey Dee is still a fucking force to be reckoned with & he clearly puts every ounce of his heart & soul into every performance.
Wizzö is the epitome of cool. He has that unassuming self-confidence and swagger that we've all come to know and love. He flashed that sly smile of his a number of times & didn't waste a fucking note.
I was very impressed with Anthrax's perfromance, although I have never been a fan of their stuff.

Thanks deathmachine! In the summer my blood pressure stays pretty normal with the meds and I'm busy doing yard work and etc and working up a good sweat. A couple of weeks ago the same thing happened and I started walking some and it went down. Last week was so busy I didn't have time to walk or anything. Of course it would go back up yesterday. Glad you had an excellent show. I did notice Lemmy's appearance at a couple of the Charlotte clips from last night. I hope if they do continue it will be in smaller segments so as to give them adequate time to rest between gigs. I am like you in that I am not an Anthrax fan but glad they rounded out the bill nicely. I do hate I especially missed hearing Bomber and Doctor Rock live. Never heard those live before. Would love to see them do another swing through the States next year with some BM songs included, but it may be a couple of more years before they return.

I love Anthrax's early albums-spreading the disease and amongst the living but the albums since then have been a bit on and off. Their last one was good though, but, just like Slayer (see other thread) as a live band they are bloody brilliant .Glad you enjoyed them deathmachine

I was at the Charlotte show and it was a really great show. At the start of the Motorhead set I was about 10 people back from the stage in front of Lemmy, but with everyone shoving around I ended up just 1 back by the last few songs. Lemmy definitely looked frail and was a little off at times, but he seemed to get better by the end of the show. At the beginning he was so stiff and moved so little I was wondering if they had just rolled him out and propped him up. I had only seen them once before (Sacrifice tour in Atlanta, with Belladonna opening) so I was really excited to see them again. I wish they would have played a few more songs (especially On Your Feet or On Your Knees) but I didn't expect a long set. I generally hate drum and guitar solos, but Dee and Campbell's solos were fairly enjoyable and relatively short.
I am a big Antrhax fan (but liked the John Bush stuff more) and thought they put on a great show and Joey's voice sounds about like it always has.
