Not really into Maiden (except live) nowadays but wasn't expecting a double album. Might even show some interest in it myself

Autumn 1984 mate, saw them twice at Hammersmith on that tour! When a UK tour was a UK tour! Just seen Harris is touring with his side band British Lion, didn't like the record but Harris in a club is a tasty prospect really

Really looking forward to this new album. Since Bruce returned they've been back to writing some great stuff. I did 4 gigs on the FF tour and will do at least that on this tour. Agree tim about Adrian writing. Good to see a mix on the credits, not as Steve heavy as they can be

Very true Lard, and Dave Murray has a credit, he doesn't do many and they're usually strong (Deja Vu!!) but yeah strong feelings this will be good. Think I'll join the Maiden FC as they do pre-sales and first to barrier if I recall?

I saw Crue in '89(?) on the Dr Feelgood tour. They were average at best to be honest, Best thing was the Tommy Lee drum solo in his rolling cage kit.
I might catch them on this tour, just to make sure it really is their last LOL

Back to the Maiden album, have you seen the running times for the songs. A 13 + minute epic that's dwarfed by a Bruce penned 18 minute number. Wonder if they'll do that one live.

never got into this band, nor i will probably i'm idiot for all those big bands but metallica. i haven't made it through the whole judas priest album in my lifetime, maiden are annoying and all ac/dc songs sound same (kinda wierd that i'm into motorhead so much since they are usually described as one of bands with ac/dc syndrome) when we talk about classic heavy stuff first 5 saxon records all the way for me
