I think an On Parole re-mix and re-release, (played by the current Motorhead line up) would be an absolute GEM!
Lemmy is more into old fashioned Rock and Roll these days, and it's easy to play.... there is plenty of it on On Parole.
I would love to here an updated version of 'Keep us on the Road' too. Oh, and Ironhorse.... and anything else really!

I want Robbo to come back on one of those super-intricate tracks a la Terminal Show, layered together with Phil and with Tool collaborations.
Imagine.

Neither talk to me, Rock and Roll would be established again if there were such re-record, a kind of Holy Grail. lol
Legion, this song would be like the cover of APD: a whirlwind of ideas on the speed of light.

I listened to the On Parole album last night, first time for a long while, and,to me, it is the only Motorhead album that sounds really dated. Therefore I would love for it to be re-recorded by the band. I wouldn't want it for any other Motorhead album , but being an "unofficial" album I think it would be a good idea of Fester's. Go listen to it and then think how bloody good it would be being brought into the 21st century by this line up. Awesome me thinks

Robbo contributed to what has become a classic Motorhead album and was a stalwart on most of Thin Lizzy's best output, and should be heralded for that. But despite all that the real reason he's a 'twat' as Mark puts it is that he didn't do more with his obvious talent. Such a shame really cause I love his playing, even if he dressed like a ballerina doll sometimes.

A much better version IMO. I can take or leave the stuff they omitted from On parole when they created the Motorhead album, and I cabnt remember the last time I listened to On parole. I'd prefer they rerecorded Rock n Roll myself, cause Im sure there's a decent album lurking in there somewhere.

I still think its a great album ,but as always with albums like this,it followed a masterpiece that was Orgasmatron. To be honest I don't think theres a bad song on rock n roll. I know you don't like the production on it but even so, the songs that were played live-rock n roll ,stone deaf in the usa, traitor , dogs, eat the rich were all bloody good. And ,for me, it pisses all over another perfect day, which is still a good album, but with only 2 great songs on it. But then I also like March or Die.
