I got a text from a mate 2 days ago- "stop everything you re doing and go and watch the star wars 7 trailer" . So I did .To say I was a bit disappointed would be an understatement. It doesn't really show much does it, or maybe I was just expecting more after his text message. And not only that we have to wait until dec 2015 !!!

I have, and am, avoiding it like the plague, want to walk in next December (LOL and you thought we waited ages for tours!)and see it totally blind. I do that with some of the big production bands I go and see, Rush for instance, don't want to know the set or the interludes til I'm in the hall , whatever happended to the art of surprise!

I see what you mean about spoilers. I remember when the prequels were coming out I was pretty fierce about avoid anything outside of trailers.
That said, I personally adore this trailer. It shows vertigo dogfights and talks to you about mysticism. Also everyone in it looks on the verge of freaking out. Perfect Star Wars so far.

well JJ abrams didn't ruin star Trek did he? so he seems a safe pair of hands, but the original movies meant so much to me (still do!) that I just want to enjoy it through the eyes of my 8year old self I contributed funding to this by the way:

Super cool, I love that kind of exploration.
Abrams did a great job on Star Trek, especially considering how he never cared about Star Trek. He's actually a Star Wars fanboy. So I'm pretty hyped.

I loved both in the 70s/80s, Trek lost it a bit but he got the magic back Re: the Elstreee 1976 film, one of the bits I bought means we get to watch the premiere of it on the Elstree soundstage Star Wras was filmed on! Excited me in any event!

I had to change me pants when I watched that teaser on that Friday night. I've been into StarWars since 1978 (wish I knew about Motorhead then heh) and I'm one of the few that went through a few pant changes for the prequels, coz they did not disappoint me 1 bit, so I'm effing looking forward to this Force Awakens lark. So is me son, so these new fillims are gonna be a journey together. So here you all go - bash me for being a prequel lover hahaha!!

Nar soz like. Episode 1 was great. Originally saw it on a vhs a few months before it was released - the copy had a big Z in the corner, which was the worst cgi ever....chortle!!!

I really have conflicting feelings about the prequels. I feel like all three films are a mix of brilliant and atrocious.

well I got to see the latest Star Wars. The effects etc were brilliant (as they should be for Star wars in a 3d imax cinema) but ,without gicing away any of the story line (if anyones bothered ) was disappointing.a bit cheesy and nothing new. I'm not much of a cinema going person, but ive seen 2 films this year on 3d imax screens. Mad Max -I wasn't expecting too much but thought it was fantastic, while Star Wars , I was hoping for a great film but came out a bit disappointed.

Well, I loved it. Is it too early to discuss it? Spoilers and so on?
