How do you rate the boys' last effort? I've noticed few posts on the board by people saying they were disapointed with it. When it came out, I posted on the Overnight Sensation Newsletter that I thought it was disapointing and I was shot down in flames by everyone. I give it 3 out of 5.

I think I gotta agree with you there, rating 3. A good album.

We are... is a good album, the title track is great and so is one more fucking time and Stay out of jail, but the rest ain't so good that the album deserves a better rate then a three out of five.

I'm going against the trend a bit and I've given it four. I only got it a week or so ago and I like it a lot. I think that it's one that nobody's too sure about now but in the future will be remembered as being underrated. 'One More Fucking Time' is probably the best track, and the title track's good too. The only downside is it's length - I think it's a little bit short, but I still like it.

It seems though that the media loved it and even refer to it as a return to form. I find that hard to swallow given the quality of Overnight Sensation and Snake Bite Love.

I read some reviews from swedish magazines, they all agree, Motörhead is back on track with this album. And as Theboycopeland said, that's strange. OS is a much better album, in my opinion that is. And besides when got Motörhead off it's track? March ör die, perhaps, but I'd say they were back on track with Bastards. But on the other hand I don't care about what magazines write, I mean a lot of magazines thinks that Bitchy Spears and Spajs girls made some good stuff...

I hate Slow Dance, terrible lyrics. I think the first 2 tracks are weak which is the main reason I don't rate the album that highly. I like an album to start and end strongly.

Loved We Are Motorhead, though it ain't a classic. Mind it that it was my first Motorhead album... The title track is THE Motorhead track. 4 out of 5.

I'll give it a 3. The songs deserve a 4, the production deserves a 2

I'll go with a 3 for the actual tunes, I like the box sleeve and all the little extras with the 'limited edition' offering
for once MH produced an attractive packaging concept.

I like the extras you get with special editions but I don't like the packaging. Those clumpy boxes don't fit into racks and look out of place stacked. The foldout book type cases (ie the hamered one) are a bit flimsy.........and they stack badly. What I hate most though are those new LP sleeve type CD covers. the thin ones.

I'm trying to find a new case to put Hammered into. We Are Motörhead's fancy box got put in a draw with the extra stuff in it, while just the CD in it's proper case remains...

Same here for the W A M box. The poster was a waste of time cos it was covered in folds, I never put the sticker anywhere and wasn't there a postcard? What the fuck do you do with a postcard? I'd rather have had a few live tracks.
