I always thought RnR was pretty underrated by both the band and the fans. No one seems to like it and I even read an interview with Phil who said that March or Die was almost as bad as RnR. I like MOD but the quote suggested 2 poor albums.
My RnR ratings out of 5
Rock n roll 4 Eat The Rich 4 Blackheart 4 Stone Deaf in The USA 3 The Wolf 3 Traitor 5 Dogs 4 All for You 5 Boogeyman 4
most of the 4s are probably 4½s as well. fuckin' great album. Better than Orgasmatron I think.

I like this one a lot too, although i don't find myself going back to it as much as i do R-n-R's "sister" album, "Orgasmatron"....Ya can't boogie with the boogie man!

I remember when it was released I listened to it a lot. But not so much the last years.

To me it's a 4. Espescially the title and 'Eat the rich' are great. I wish they would play these two nowadays...but I think they won't...really sad.

I think Boogeyman would make a great encore.

It's OK, a good solid set of songs, but it sounds uninspired. My favourite song on this one is The Wolf, which inspired a tattoo that I designed myself. I used to listen to it all the time, but since that album there has been much better stuff released. I think it says a lot about this album that the only thing the band plays from this era is "Just cos you got the power", and that was a b-side.

All For You is the best from this album to me. I always appreciate a melodic Motorhead song - then back we go to Sacrifice, then back to the melodic etc.
;D

Yes it is a good song, but if you want melodic, look no further than Another Perfect Day.

Yes it is a good song, but if you want melodic, look no further than Another Perfect Day. Exactly."Oi! Philthy! Look! Robbo's playing a fancy chord!" ;D

4 stars, I give it. My favorites are Rock 'n Roll, Traitor, Dogs, and Cradle to the Grave. (Gotta love those remastered records with all the b-sides ;D)

Good sfuff, but not of their best. My favourite song is "Rock N Roll", one of the greatest tunes this band has ever made!. "All For You" and "Stone Deaf In The USA" are very good, too.

None of the songs is a real stinker so that's always something. If you got the CD with bonus tracks it's even better with the just 'cos you got the power Favourites are; Rock 'n' Roll Eat the rich Traitor Dogs (Just 'cos you...) Won't rate them cos it's too bloody hard.
I haven't listnened to the album for a while but I guess it's time to dust it off. This is written without reading your comments so I can give it my own opinion...
