Listening to this now. Fucking magic. Not sure whether I prefer this or chemical wedding. I think they're both the equal of anything maiden have done though.

Long time since I've heard it, but I don't think I can give it more than 4.

Good album, but not as strong as either Chemical Wedding or the top Maiden albums, so I can't give it a 5.

Four out of Five. Top album, I love his solo stuff, but not as good as Chemical Wedding or Tatooed Millionaire.

I can't choose between this and Chemical Wedding. I wouldn't say tatooed Millionaire is up there though. I like Son Of A Gun but as a whole I'd give the album 2 or 3/5

To be honest I haven't heard all of TM but what I have heard I liked. It's a different style, and I like that.

A great album, better than the maiden albums from the Blaze era.

Bruce has done some great solo stuff and the one crumb I take from the rumours of an end to Maiden after the next album are the hope that Bruce makes more music and tours again.
His stuff is certainly a lot better than Adrians ASAP stuff ,and as for Steve's British Lions, pfft.

Eh? Rumours of What?
And, oh goodness, British Lion. That was dreadful.

There is a rumour circulating that, owing to Briuce's desire to fly and become an all round business mogul and Steve's desire to make more crap solo music, the band will call it a day after the next album. This will leave them young enough to persue these other interests properly.
It is, as I say ,just a rumour, but an unsettling rumour none the less

I really don't like this idea. I could actually see Maiden without Bruce - Blaze had the wrong vocal range but I love a lot of material from the Blaze era. The idea of Maiden disbanding and 'Arry going solo is awful though. Also, the idea that Bruce would leave without resuming the solo career is added awfulness. His solo stuff is great.

As I say it is merely a rumour, and let's not forget everyone dug up a quote from Steve in the early 80's where he said 15 albums and thats it for the band, then the band went and gave the 15th album a title with the word Final in it, so everyone added 2 and 2 and got 5 by saying TFF was their last outing.
Thats said until we get the next album we can never assume the last isn't literally just that.
